House of Ghost Whisperer Forum is Running Again
We checked our messages this morning to learn from several of you that CK seems to have had a change of heart and reopened House of Ghost Whisperer Forum. We went to the HGWF link and -- sure enough -- we were able to log in. The last things we saw posted were dated June 20.

Im glad to have had the chance to have gotten to know u all,a bit better;thanks to our emails over the past few days!
Re HGW forum reincarnated, I'm just not sure. WHO ELSE will get emails from CK?? I haven't received anything,yet
If HGW forum is back, b/c a bad patch in life is now over, I can understand ("..we all make mistakes & no one is perfect.." etc..). But what happens when the next bad patch happens? CK is apparently unwilllng to share the load with helpers. (Witness the dismissal of the bears from being moderators - -uhh--WHY??). This is important so more fair, balanced decisions can be made.
I believe the subject material and your thoughts, ideas ,opinions on it,are WAY bigger than one person's unilateral decision to shut down the medium, by which they are expressed. All of us are expressing ourselves, out of a common appreciation of life and its fragility, romance(how wonderful to see that my wife and I, aren't the only "eternal romantics" in the world!),and the joy of affirmatation that lots of couples, by gosh, actually DO cherish each other and help each other through the bad patches.. and that there is a show (GhostWhisperer - viva Melinda AND Jim!!!!!) that presents this! I want to cheer!

I really don't know what to think of it-- or to think how long it will last. Maybe all of a sudden he just realized he missed it. Well, HERE'S TO HOPING!

Oooops.... was scanning over the blog entries and didn't "pay attention" to this one as much as I should have. My response to it is really on the very first posting.
Basically I said I would be checking both sites and hopefully posting at both.

We are happy to be of some help. And that there a few of us who want the chance to keep talking about our favorite show. Like all of you, we are watching HGWF to see what happens. It is early morning, so when we wake up a little more we might be able to make a more coherent post.
The Bears are so sorry that it took a while for all of your comments to appear. We were sitting around in the cave wondering why no one was responding to our new blog. Then this morning we got a message from the host that we had activity. Duh (paw slap to forehead!) we forgot we had to approve comments. One of these days we’ll get the hang of this thing.

I have to say I'm in something of a quandary. I really enjoyed HGW until CK put the kibosh on discussing Ghost Whisperer or how any of the episodes might foreshadow themes that could possibly show up in the finale. After the finale, I posted on HGW about this paradox - not being able to discuss the show on a discussion board about the show - and I'm afraid that even CK's acknowledgment/apology couldn't rekindle my enthusiasm for posting on the board. I have been a faithful participant in the chat as well.
I really enjoy the discussions we have had on HGW. I want nothing more than to be able for that to continue. But it's a time commitment and a certain emotional investment as well, and I have been spending entirely too much time recently just worrying about when and if HGW would be shut down, and now that it's apparently back, for how long it might be up this time.
So I'm grateful to the bears for giving me the option of expressing myself without all that stress. I think the Melindaverse is a terrific resource, and I wish I had a geek like Chief Rodney.
I'm feeling pretty lukewarm about HGW at the moment, but I want to continue the fun discussions we have had about the show. I'll be commenting here for the moment, and I'll be waiting to see what develops on HGW before I decide what to do...
