Twenty-first century realities, indeed! This is really frustrating. Whoever is doing this must have a beef with one of the forums on the server -- but we don't know which one. Meanwhile, all the rest of us must suffer.

They probably won't catch whoever did this but if they do, I sure hope they meet up with some of your friends and do some time.

Meanwhile we just have to wait it out.

And enjoy a new episode of GW!!!

We think you might get more reactions to your comments if you posted them on the thread in the forum. http://melindaverse.forumer.com/ and register. You don't have to register under your own name -- you can be anybody you want just like us, The Bears. You do have to give a real e-mail address but no one but Chief Rodney D. Rat will ever know what that is.

Like the one for whom you wrote these suggestions, I am a recent devotee of GW. I am most intrigued by the use of characters in mirrors and as mirrors. At Melinda and Jim's wedding his brother appears and tells Melinda that Jim takes away fear. That comment foreshadows so much of the conversation and physical gesture between Melinda and Jim. In the episode, Don't Try this at Home, Bloody Mary is juxtaposed with Jim's character in Fury. Bloody Mary appears in a mirror behind the one who has called her name, and frightens them, diminishing their presence. In Fury, when Melinda is in the square at night, and one of the dark figures appears, Jim is suddenly behind her (like Bloody Mary in the mirror), but he brings relief , not fear. His presence is no reflection, but his visceral substance deflects or scatters fear. This is a lovely quality to the relationship and a cerebral pull to the story.

Talon -- it's good to see you are able to post (it's a long story that we can explain at another time).

We think Gabriel is pretty much a dark spirit or possessed by one. But judging by the way Tom Gordon was sucked away when Mel gripped the chalk, we wonder if he isn't being forced against his will to help the dark side. It looked very similar to the way Andrea was being used against Melinda in the first episode of season two.

"So much time, so little to do!....wait strike that, and reverse it"

All we know from the end of season 2 is Gabriel is working with MG'S DAD to use "collected" spirits to block the light and keep cross-overs from taking place. What we don't know is WHY? Gaberiel was locked up in a mental hospital and has ZERO friends other than spirits, whom he has collected and partied with. We know from the flight attendant's expierence that cross-overs are still possible if you "think happy thoughts" so I'm wondering if the Tom Gordan/Gabriel conncetion is more misguided tinkering than outright evil intentions....3 days till we know more!

What surprised me was that Melinda was so unwilling to help Ethan find Kristin. Usually Mel is willing to help almost anyone who asks for her aid -- be they spirit or mortal. Perhaps Gabriel's betrayal has really made her wary.
